Rotary Presents $5,000 to Boys & Girls Club and Pure Water for the World

Brattleboro Rotary Club President Elizabeth Harrison (on left in photo) presented two checks — each in the amount of $2,545 — to Boys & Girls Club representative Beth Baldwin Page and Pure Water for the World representative Philip Steckler, during the club's April 5th meeting.
The funds were raised via a raffle in memory of Norm Kuebler, a longtime community member, businessman, and past president of this club who passed away in April 2010.
The raffle prize was a $1,000 store credit, generously donated by Renaissance Fine Jewelry. The drawing took place on February 3, 2012, at the store on Main Street in downtown Brattleboro during Gallery Walk. The raffle winner was Ian Harrison of Townshend.
