Rest in Peace, Norm

Norman W. Kuebler 1946-2010 WILLIAMSVILLE, VT Norman "Norm" W. Kuebler, 63, of Williamsville, died on Sunday, April 11, 2010, at the Grace Cottage Hospital in Townshend. Born on May 1, 1946, the son of Harold and Jean Weber Kuebler in Chicago, Ill., he attended Goddard College in Vermont, and Friends World College on Long Island. Norman enjoyed travel, especially with his family, and rooting for the Red Sox. He was a member and past President of the Brattleboro Rotary Club and active in the Williamsville School Preservation Society. He was the original founder of the Common Ground Restaurant, was the first massage therapist in southern Vermont, and was current principal of the New England Senior Insurance Group. Norm formerly served in many volunteer positions, including firefighter in Williamsville and board member of Windham Housing Trust. He will be remembered for a list too long to print. His love for Vermont and his family were among the highlights in his life. He will be missed by Oreo, his feline companion of 13 years. Norman leaves two sons, Jacob Kuebler of Aspen, Colo., Hans Kuebler of Boston, Mass.; a daughter, Margot Kuebler of Brattleboro, Vt.; his mother, Jean Kuebler, of Landsale, Pa.; a sister, Marilyn Carter, and many friends. He was predeceased by his father, Harold. MEMORIAL NOTICE: A memorial service and celebration of his life will be on Thursday, Apr. 15, 2010 at the West Village Meeting House in Brattleboro at 12 p.m. His cremated remains will be dispersed by the family at a later date. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. also at the West Village meeting House.
