Pumpkin sale
The club will assist with the Pumpkin sales at Coles and all proceeds are to go to support the Cancer Society.
 
Exchange Student Night:
Jeanette announced she has planned a meet and greet night for the exchange students, Gabo and Joanne on September 25, The Noon Rotary Club  is also invited.  
Please respond to Jeanette’s e-mail so she can plan on numbers
Jeanette also has openings to host our Exchange Students.

Shirley’s grand-daughter won second prize in a photo contest for adults
Roger was happy for the good organization and fellowship of the Festival of Art
Bob is going to Vancouver for his nephew’s wedding
Ken for a free meal
Jeanette Gerry bought her a drink
Thomas was happy his grand-daughter’s frosh week was boring
Jim H was happy for the full schedule and everyone showing up at the Festival of Art
 
 Program :     
     
The Program was a Club Assembly with special emphasis on future fundraising;
 
Secretary
Roger announced that Marilyn Whiteside has resigned for health reasons
 
Treasurer
Grant had sent a report of the clubs finances and a reminder that dues are past due
 
Community Service
Drew announced that the renovation of our town clock is behind schedule and that a place is planned to recognize Darsh Mongia’s contribution.
 
International 
Sandy asked for donations to the Nicaragua project, clothes, tools, and books are appreciated
 
Club Service
Jim M. has programs lined up but would appreciate ideas for programs
 
Fundraising
Drew is organizing a committee to find a new fundraising event to replace the Antique Show.
