Marty introduced Linda Libront to give her Classification talk, Linda was born in Hamilton. Her father was a Polish soldier who trained in Canada where he met her mother who had emigrated from Poland. At age 12 the family moved to India for her father’s job, then returned to the USA where Linda attended high school in Amherst NY. She returned to Canada for an economics degree at Brock and was hired by the Canadian government. She worked for the Canadian International Development Agency with postings in Nigeria, Afghanistan, New York City and Sri Lanka. She has one son, Matthew who is in the military and has just completed a course in GIS (geographic information systems) She has joined us in Grimsby so her mother can continue to enjoy her home and garden. Clarence thanked Linda.
