The Rotary Club of Grimsby assisted the Active Transportation Committee and the Town of Grimsby in supporting the growth of cycling in the region by the installation of a FIX-IT bike repair stand in the downtown core.  The Club obtained a matching grant from the Rotary Foundation, the Grimsby Active Transportation managed the project and the Town of Grimsby installed the equipment and will maintain it.  The Downtown Improvement Association also installed a number of additional bike stands in the downtown core.

The  FIX-IT stand includes an air pump and all the tools necessary to adjust a bike and to change tires.
