The Rotary Club of Grimsby had to adapt their annual Fantasy of Trees event this year due to COVID restrictions.

The Club originally planned to hold a down-sized and COVID-safe event at the Grimsby Museum in November 2020 re-branded as the Fantasy of Wreaths (and Trees) and consisting of 20 Christmas wreaths and 3 Christmas trees. However, with the local increase in COVID cases, the Club changed its plans and the event was held virtually.

The 3 XMAS trees were available for viewing at the museum during their regular hours, and the wreaths were available for viewing on the auction website.

The Grimsby Museum’s gift store remained open this season, with an expanded assortment of items - visitors should check it out. The Museum relies on sales from the store to help cover operating costs.

This would have been the 21st Fantasy of Trees event. We anticipate that the full event will return next year. Each year the display is more impressive and the 2021 event is expected to continue this trend.
