District update from ADG Klar

Assistant District Governor Tim Klar attended Hyde Park Rotary Club meeting No. 1750 on 24 May 2017 to give an update of District news.

 

We were encouraged to get involved at the District Assembly for training  of next years office bearers being held in Murray Bridge on Sunday 29th May. Attendance by a Club member at the session about Global Grants is mandatory for eligibility to apply for a grant.

 

The future for Districts 9500 and 9520 was briefly discussed. At this stage the Districts will merge in 2020, the year after Tim is DG.

 

The District Governor will attend RCHP on 09Aug17.

 

Tim will be an apology for our Change-over as he will be in Perth.
