A few topics from the September 17, 2014, meeting you need to know about!

Adoption Awareness Picnic - HAVE YOU SIGNED UP TO HELP???  Our club is a co-sponsor of the Adoption Awareness Picnic.  President, Vicki King, attended the September 9, 2014, planning meeting.  Our club is responsible for several events and we will need the assistance of our members and interact club students.  These events include:  1)  Inflatable Games (3); 2)  Book Corner Reading Center; 3) Hellum Balloons; 4)  Fishing Tank; 5)  Bean Bag Toss; and 6) Face Painting.  Please sign up and let us know where you would like to help.  During the planning meeting, a decision was made to only have 10-15 Interact Students from each Interact Club assist during the picnic since there are five (5) Interact Clubs that will be involved this year.

Fishing Tank - Toys, gadgets, etc.  Please keep in mind our club needs donations for the Fishing tank for the Adoption Awareness Picnic.  If you have any -questions about what to donate or what is best, please call Donna Weiss or Vicki King.  If shopping for these things is not your cup of tea, please give your monetary donation to Vicki King so items may be purchased for the event.  WE NEED YOUR DONATIONS (TOYS OR MONETARY) WITHIN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS.

IT'S PARTY TIME!!! - - - The following request has been in the newsletter for two weeks and the only response I have received is that the 18th is not good for some.  Please let me know if the 11th or the 25th of October is good for you.  I do not want to book the room at K-Bob's if no one is going to attend.

     When are you available?  We are planning a night for a social...either Saturday October 11, 2014; October 18, 2014; or October 25, 2014.  Let Vicki King know which Saturday evening is best for you. Please bring your spouse or significant other and join us at K-Bob's in the bar section for a dutch treat social.

CHRISTMAS PARTY - - - To be announced!!!  Be thinking about the dates.
