Born and raised in Southern California, Steve currently works and lives in Glendale, and serves the entire So CA area. He graduated from Cal Poly, Pomona with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a Marketing Major. Having the uncanny ability to find almost anything, for his clients, he has gained a reputation of being a Findologist.
To increase his knowledge of the Promotional Products Industry, Steve earned his Master Advertising Specialist (MAS) designation. The MAS is awarded to the top one percent of promotional products professionals. Those who have earned the MAS are recognized for providing the highest standard of conduct, integrity and professionalism to their customers.
Whether you are around the corner or across the globe, Stephen delivers expert personal service. He serves as an extension of your marketing department devoted exclusively to promotional marketing solutions.
It is Steve’s philosophy that while working for one of the largest companies in the promotional products industry it is important to give back to the community. To further these ideals, Stephen is an active member of and is serving on or has served on the Boards of Directors of the following organizations; Salvation Army Glendale Corps Advisory Council, Founding member of the Glendale Education Foundation, Glendale Sunrise Rotary Club (2005-2006 President), The Campbell Center (Past President) and The Campbell Center Foundation (Past President, Glendale Safe Place (founding member of the board), Glendale Youth Alliance, Glendale-Crescenta Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, San Gabriel Chamber of Commerce (board member), and Glendale Chamber of Commerce. Other organizations that he contributes to include: Glendale Healthy Kids, Glendale Business and Professional Woman, Glendale Adventist Medical Center Foundation, Glendale YMCA, Glendale YWCA, and Glendale Presidents Advisory Council (President 2002-2004).

This event takes place on Thursday, October 10th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the amazing and historic Valley Relics Museum. While you are networking with like-minded professionals enjoy the sights of nostalgic items that will bring back great memories.
This Business Networking event encourages you to bring your business cards, purchase a booth and lay out your marketing materials or company giveaways, or consider sponsoring the event and taking the microphone to share with all those in attendance the powerful work you do during your 3-minute commercial. Rotary is fostering the importance of doing business with one another and at the same time bring a non-Rotarian who will see the impact Rotary may have on their life and their business!
At the September 6th joint meeting with LA5 Rotary DG Albert Hernandez reminded us of the unique magic of Rotary. "It is a kind of magic woven through the commitment and efforts of every Rotarian in our District. Each project we undertake, each community we touch, brings about a transformation not only in those we help but in ourselves as well. Through the magic of Rotary, we see firsthand how health initiatives extend lives, how economic development uplifts entire communities, how our commitment to education opens doors for youth to thrive, and how our global humanitarian efforts unite our district in service above self.”
And this meeting was no exception – our club crafted Rotary Magic by collaborating with LA5 Rotary to host DG Albert Hernandez Visit. Co-President Andrea Amor teamed up with LA5 Rotary President Brenda Wiewel to plan, organize and execute a fabulous meeting and program. Big Thanks to Alberto Cuevas for leading us in the pledge, and Co-President Jon Smoller for being "the inspiration."
Look who crashed the post-meeting fellowship - Our very own Honorary Rotarian Jesse Rhines! Nothing better than having members come back to our in-person meeting or fellowship. Jesse, Jon, Nadia, and Andrea enjoyed the warm sounds of live Jazz, laughter, and camaraderie.

David Henseler reminded us that there are over 70,000 Marines at Camp Pendleton and 10,000 children under the age of 5! More than 160 babies are born there each month! Most families arrive with whatever they can fit in their car. With a very low income, most do not have everything they need for newborns and small children. They have need to furnish an apartment and set up a kitchen.
David is also spearheading Rise Against Hunger District 5280 Wide Project, we are partnering with
the Rise Against Hunger (RAH) organization. RAH is committed to ending world hunger by 2030. You can see more about them at www.riseagainsthunger.org RAH sends food all over the world to manmade (Ukraine) and natural (floods and hurricanes) disasters. One of the best things they do is send 40% of all the food packaged to schools in developing nations. That increases attendance and learning, helping to end the cycle of poverty. Educated girls are less likely to fall victim to human trafficking.

We will be putting specific amounts of soy, dehydrated vegetables, rice and a vitamin/mineral packet into a plastic bag that is weighed, sealed, labeled and boxed. Each bag is a meal for 6 and there are 30 bags in a box.

Nadia Stanley and Genevieve Leavitt
Nadia R. Stanley born in England to Jamaican Parents raised in Wellesley, MA but
since acquiring four citizenships Nadia boasts she is a citizen of the World. Nadia
was a veteran global television producer with credits on networks including FOX,
Bravo, BET, NBC! Universal, VH1Soul, TVJ, RE TV and OWN. After receiving
her BSBA from The American University, Nadia honed her journalistic skills
attending Santa Monica College to study sports broadcasting. After a 15-year
career in television, which had her working internationally in the US, UK, Uganda &
Jamaica, Nadia pivoted to running a wealth management, financial services, and
insurance solutions practice partnered with New York Life, serving the
entertainment community and beyond. She currently sits on the board of the
National Association of Black Journalist Los Angeles Chapter as the Secretary & Treasurer and sits on the Advisory Board of PBS SoCal.
Genevieve Leavitt
A Midwestern girl, born in St. Paul, Minnesota and raised right across the border in beautiful Wisconsin. Relocated to Los Angeles because of a long-distance relationship. That relationship turned into a marriage, and 20 years later she lives with her husband Phil and dog Scooter in Glendale.
Attended Cal State LA, majoring in English Literature, but eventually went back to her first passion - Cosmetology. She ran a successful hair dressing business until the Pandemic forced salons across the state to close, hers included.
In 2020, with no information about when we would be able to reopen the salon, she decided to change careers. Her mom is a Registered Nurse, and Genevieve felt a call to enter the healthcare field after she saw what her mom went through during that first year of the pandemic. She has never been more professionally satisfied! Being an Echocardiographer - a medical technician performing detailed ultrasounds on patients' hearts allows her to work in the exciting world of Cardiology, and with some great doctors at Kaiser Permanente, West LA.
