This Rotary Year, our Club’s leadership made a handful of changes. Starting with revamping our ClubRunner Website, saving over $500 in fees for an alternative site, and are using its robust platform to ensure seamless communication. Likewise our Club has implemented an online credit card processing system (Zeffy) that is completely fee-free. Since its implementation, the system has saved our Club over $800.00 in fees and simplified transactions for both the organization and our supporters.
Additionally, we are excited to introduce new initiatives to enhance our Club’s engagement and impact. With the launching of a monthly newsletter to keep all members informed about upcoming events, achievements, and opportunities for involvement. This will continue to serve as a platform to celebrate our successes and share important updates.
To foster camaraderie and strengthen our bonds, we incorporated regular fellowship events. These gatherings will provide members with the chance to connect, share experiences, and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Regular Club Meetings now adhere to Rotary International Guidelines to ensure productivity and alignment with the organization's values. They provide a platform for members to discuss projects, share ideas, and plan initiatives. Projects crafted during these meetings include a District Grant for the beautification of Para Los Niños Middle School Campus and D5280 Wildfire Grants for non-Rotarian families directly affected by the fires. Additionally, "craft talks" occur at members' businesses, following Paul Harris's original concept.
Finally, we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to implement a yearly signature fundraiser – “Sip & Stuff.” This event promises to be a highlight of our calendar, bringing together members, friends, and the community to support a worthy cause and highlight the spirit of Rotary. We encourage all members to take part and contribute to making it a resounding success.

The position of President-Elect is still open, and if anyone is interested in that position, please let us know.

Jennifer Lim
Jennifer Lim is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial banking having worked in diverse domestic and international markets. She currently works at Southwestern National Bank delivering tailored banking solutions to businesses of various sizes, from small businesses to multinational corporations. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from both Seoul National University and Peking University. Jennifer combines her educational background with her business acumen to enhance her ability to develop strategic approaches to solving complex financial challenges while supporting long-term business growth for clients in a variety of sectors. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jennifer is passionate about serving her community. Whether through volunteer work, mentoring, or supporting local initiatives, she is committed to giving back and making a positive impact.
Tina Ramirez is the Founder and President of Hardwired Global, which she founded in 2013 after serving as a policy advisor for the U.S. Congress where she founded the bi-partisan International Religious Freedom Caucus. Tina has published extensively in Human Rights and has worked in over 30 countries on programs to promote pluralism and advance human rights through education.
