Our Rotary Club was chartered in 1997. Over the nearly thirty years, our Club has had a positive impact on countless lives both locally and globally. We have done so by giving our time, labor, and money at the Club level, Rotary District 5280, and Rotary International. As Rotarians, we help each other and collectively help others. On a personal level, Rotary has helped us grow both personally and professionally, and we are thankful for the opportunities that Rotary has given us to provide “Service Above Self.”

We are doing a lot of good things in the Club. Just last weekend, Club members (along with members of some thirty-five clubs in the District) helped package some 65,000 meals at the Rise Against Hunger Project. And, through a District Grant, we are partnering with Para Los Niños on a campus beautification project that will take place next spring. Our Club’s leadership is hard at work; our website is looking sharp, and monthly newsletters help us all stay informed as to Club and District-wide happenings. 

However, we can do better, much better. It first starts with personal engagement with the Club. Personal engagement allows us to foster an esprit de corps within the Club and spur collaboration between and among Club members. OUR FIRST ASK: Please attend our Club meetings either in person or by Zoom if you cannot make a meeting in person. OUR SECOND ASK: Please attend and help promote “Sip & Stuff” Build-A-Bear Extravaganza on December 7 at the LAAC. Through your generous help, our Club will be bringing a big smile and joy to children at Para Los Niños Elementary School who will be receiving a Build-A-Bear (with Rotary logo t-shirt) for the holiday season.
