David Henseler, Past-President of South Bay Sunrise Rotary Club, has led community service projects for many years. David will present two District 5280 projects that he passionately co-chairs:
Camp Pendleton - clothing, housewares, furniture & baby items are always needed for the Marine families on base.
Rise Against Hunger - food packing event that helps feed areas in the USA and worldwide.

District Governor Albert Hernandez and his team are hard at work organizing fun and engaging events like the Seaside Splash & Dash where DTLA Rotary has entered the "Cardboard Boat Competition." Our very own Henry Leong is hard at work building the winning boat and Ari Gati will be "The Rower."
The first meeting in August was fabulous with a record number of members and guests in attendance this year. The pre-meeting fellowship was fun - those in attendance enjoyed a complimentary whiskey tasting hosted by LAAC. Big Thanks to Ari Gati for leading us in the pledge, Mickaela Montoya for being "the inspiration," and Candace Hobson for leading us in the Four-Way Test. Guest Speaker and Palos Verdes Peninsula Rotary Club President Lindsey Glass made an impactful impression on all of those in attendance. Nadia Stanley, prospective new member won the wine bottle give away! The post-meeting fellowship was filled with laughter and camaraderie.
