Early-registration deadlines are passing, but there is still time to sign up for several important Rotary events on the horizon.

Your RSVPs are needed for:

District Breakfast (April 13 event; RSVP due at our April 1 meeting)
This quarter's District Breakfast will be hosted by District 5280 Interact and Rotaract leaders. Featured speakers are Daniel Armstrong, founder and president of "Find A Tree" and Hal Walker, Jr., chairman and co-founder, A-MAN, Inc.

Rotary Dodger Game Day (April 17 event; RSVP date TBA)
As an awareness and fund-raising effort for Polio Plus, District 5280 will sponsor a Saturday afternoon ball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants on Saturday, April 17. The tickets are priced at $35 per person. In addition, there will be opportunity drawing tickets at $10 each for the chance to throw out the first ball at this game. The LA Dodgers are holding seats right above the press boxes for District 5280. Tickets will be assigned on a first come, first served basis for paid reservations. In order to have your club members sit together, please submit your order and payment for your club members and guests together.

District Conference (May 13-16; RSVP by May 12 for $85/person rate)

District Assembly (May 22 event; RSVP by our May 6 meeting)
The 2010 District Assembly of District 5280 is scheduled for May 22 at the Carson Community Center. The District Assembly is a great opportunity to learn, share and become better informed about Rotary at the Club, District and International levels, and to introduce your club leadership to our new 2010-2011 District Governor, Doug Baker. You will receive information and assistance in planning your new Rotary year from knowledgeable and dedicated Rotarians.
