Visit by District Governor DJ Sun

We were honored to receive a visit by our District Governor DJ Sun, Executive Aide Cozette Vergari, and Assistant Governor Zainul Abedin on August 6 for the annual District Governor's visit.  This special meeting gave us the chance to share our goals for the upcoming year including our newly unveiled three-year Strategic Plan, focusing on growing membership, service projects in Downtown LA, and nurturing future leaders through initiatives targeting youth and young professionals.

The district team provided inspiration and helpful advice to enhance our work.  It was not all strictly business, however - the evening was filled with much fun and laughter, and comic relief was especially plentiful via Skype where Past President Peter Lattey joined us from Vancouver, Canada.

At the meeting we also inducted our newest member, Brenda McCabe, who recently transferred from the Rotary Club of Madrid.      

The 2015-16 Rotary year continues to unfold with many more great things in store for Rotary DTLA - stay tuned!
