Thurs Feb 19: Jeff Weigel, WASUP Fiji Water and Sanitation Project

This Thursday Jeff Weigel from the Redondo Beach Rotary Club will be speaking about the WASUP Fiji Water and Sanitation Global Grant of which the Rotary Club of Downtown LA is a supporter. The mission of WASUP is to improve self-sustainable clean water and sanitation systems in rural communities, to foster a culture of hygiene, to steward product ownership among the beneficiaries and to inspire the replication of a clean water community model on Taveuni and across the South Pacific Islands. The vision of WASUP is to eliminate waterborne disease from drinking sources across the South Pacific.

Visiting Rotarians and guests are welcome! Join us for our Happy Hour on the 3^rd floor of LAAC from 5:30-6:30pm. Our meeting begins promptly at 6:30pm on the 4^th floor; there is a $20 meal charge per person.
