September 17 Meeting: Adult Literacy Services, LA Public Library

Come join our upcoming meeting on September 17 (Thursday) at the Los Angeles Athletic Club where our guest speakers will be Brian Cunningham and Adriana Llandez and of the Los Angeles Public Library, Adult Literacy Services. 

Brian Cunningham has been a librarian for the Los Angeles Public Library for four years, currently within the Adult Literacy & Volunteer Services department at Central Library. He has been involved in education in various capacities, working with elementary through college-aged students. He is currently LAPL's project coordinator for Career Online High School.

Adriana Llandez works as an Adult Literacy Coordinator for the Los Angeles Public Library and manages the Walk-In Tutors as well as One-on-One Tutors.  Aside from her commitment to her tutors and students, she also has students of her own through the Leamos program.  

We'll begin with pre-meeting happy hour from 5:30pm on the 3rd floor, followed by our meeting from 6:30pm on the 4th floor.

Guests and visiting Rotarians welcome!  There is a $20 meal charge per person.
