Come join our upcoming meeting on October 6 (Thursday) at the Los Angeles Athletic Club where our speakers will be Mallory Powers Loring of Chrysalis Enterprises, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment.

Since 1984, Chrysalis has helped more than 55,000 people through its employment programs and services. What makes the organization unique is its transitional jobs program. More than a business, it provides clients with the skills, experience and self-confidence needed to secure permanent employment. This social enterprise business provides street and building maintenance, janitorial, warehouse, front desk, and general staffing solutions to over 100 communities and business across L.A. County.

As Manager of Donor Engagement & Communications, Mallory Loring facilitates opportunities for the community to support and give in meaningful ways to Chrysalis. What she loves most about Chrysalis are the clients and being able to share their stories with the organization's supporters. And sometimes she even has a chance to dress up as one of Chrysalis' transitional job workers and get her hands dirty - check out the photo!

Join us for pre-meeting happy hour from 5:30pm on the 3rd floor, followed by our meeting from 6:30pm on the 4th floor.

Guests and visiting Rotarians welcome!  There is a $25 meal charge per person.
