The first team of walkers from the Rotary Club of Los Angeles Morning takes to the streets to raise funds and awareness to end homelessness.

Rotarians Ginny-Marie Case and Alex Brideau III (along with future Rotarian Iolani Brideau) took part in the United Way's 2008 HomeWalk to raise money and awareness to end homelessness.

Sporting the new RCLAM t-shirts, Ginny, Alex, and Iolani found the 5K course a bit more challenging than last year due to the warmer weather and different walking route, but the experience overall was very gratifying.

A sponsored 5K walk to prevent and end homelessness in Los Angeles County, HomeWalk is part of United Way of Greater Los Angeles' year-round campaign to end homelessness called Pathway Home. In addition to a walk, HomeWalk is also an educational journey, helping participants learn more about the crisis of homelessness and what we can do to solve it.

This was the Rotary Club of Los Angeles Morning's first time fielding a walking team for the HomeWalk.
