The Rotary Club of Los Angeles Morning is proud to welcome its two newest members, Rev. Sandie Richards and Ms. Ginny-Marie Case, who will be inducted at the July 17 meeting.

Be sure to attend this first meeting of Rotary Year 2008-2009 as we welcome our two newest members!

For those who don't already know, Sandie is the minister of the First United Methodist Church of Los Angeles. In existence as a Downtown congregation for over 150 years, "First" is located in the South Park neighborhood, one block away from LA Live. The church is embarking upon an ambitious development project that will construct a new, high-rise church along with a mixed-use residential component. Sandie also serves on the Board of Directors of Los Angeles' Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice.

Ginny is a project manager at The Robert Group, a government affairs outreach firm located in Atwater Village. Ginny is currently coordinating the public outreach for the "subway to the sea" and Downtown-area Metro Rail connection enhancements. A Downtown resident for the last four years, Ginny is also the outgoing Vice President of Outreach and Communication for the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council.

Both of the new members were sponsored by club member Alex Brideau III (yours truly).
