Kim Mizuno, Jr. is a mechanical engineer who has worked at Parker Aerospace Fluid Systems Division – Irvine, his first job out of college, for almost 10 years. Kim graduated from the University of California – Irvine in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. His love for cars and all things mechanical led him to choose engineering as his career path early on in life.
Kim’s job as a Product Support Engineer at Parker is fast paced and dynamic. His daily activities range from managing projects, providing technical support to technicians and other engineers working on Parker-designed aircraft components and systems, and working with interdisciplinary high performance work teams focused on solving the team’s biggest issues.
Although Kim, a native of Los Angeles, works in Orange County, he loves the vibrant, cultural richness of Los Angeles. Kim lives in Inglewood, the city he grew up in and is excited about the improvements being made there. When he’s not spending time with his wife Melonye and 2 ½ year old son Mako, he is focused on employing financial strategies involving private lending, family banking, and real estate investing to grow personal and legacy wealth for his family for generations to come.
His journey on the path to personal development has created a desire for him to help develop others as well which has led him to such organizations as Rotary, Toastmasters, and UCLA’s Anderson School of Management as a mentor in their Riordan Scholars program.
