Come join our upcoming meeting on March 3 (Thursday) at the Los Angeles Athletic Club where Past President and current International Service Chair Peter Lattey will talk about our water and sanitation projects in Kenya.

Over the past two years, the Rotary Club of Downtown Los Angeles has led two Rotary Foundation Global Grants to provide clean water, latrines, and hand wash stations to schools and clinics in Migori, Kenya.  We have provided clean water to thirteen schools and two clinics and have directly impacted over 5,000 students.  We have also helped local women start a small business making and selling reusable sanitary pads.  Peter will tell us all about Rotary's work there and our plans for future projects.

We'll begin with pre-meeting happy hour from 5:30pm on the 3rd floor, followed by our meeting from 6:30pm on the 4th floor.

Guests and visiting Rotarians welcome!  There is a $25 meal charge per person.

RSVP to Jennifer at jennifer@rotarydtla.org.
