Come join our upcoming meeting on March 17 (Thursday) at the Los Angeles Athletic Club where attorney and Rotarian Mark Ameli will talk about Rotary's focus on peace and conflict resolution.  Mark is a member of the Rancho Park Rotary Club and has served on the district level in various positions including Chair of Peace and Conflict Resolution and is currently the Senior Assistant Governor for International Service.
 
Mark Ameli has been a practicing attorney since 1980 and is a full-time mediator working with ADR Services, the second largest mediation organization in California and handles business, personal injury, employment, and cross cultural matters.  He has served as a judge pro tem as well as arbitrator and mediator in the Los Angeles Superior Court.
 
Mr. Ameli holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California at Berkeley, a Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California, and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of West Los Angeles.  He has also completed advanced mediation courses at Pepperdine and Harvard. 
 

We'll begin with pre-meeting happy hour from 5:30pm on the 3rd floor, followed by our meeting from 6:30pm on the 4th floor.

Guests and visiting Rotarians welcome!  There is a $25 meal charge per person.
