The District Breakfast, the launch of a new community service project, and the District Governor's visit mark an active month for the club.

January will be a busy month for the Rotary Club of Los Angeles Morning, starting with the District Breakfast on January 5. This District Breakfast, which will be held on the first Monday of the new year, will cost $27 per person if we RSVP before December 22; $32 per person after that date. So be sure to RSVP to Alex online (ask Alex or Ginny how) or at the December 4 or December 18 meetings.

The club is also planning to launch a new community service project in January focused on greening our Downtown neighborhood. We anticipate this service project will occur on the third Saturday of January and every month thereafter. Be sure to wear your RCLAM t-shirt (or other apparel) during the service project! This "green Downtown" service project joins our existing Reading To Kids service project that is held on second Saturdays.

The rescheduled District Governor's Visit is also scheduled to occur in January. The specific date will be announced soon.

So, saddle up, LA Morning Rotarians, as the new year brings new activities to our club!
