January 9, 2014 - The Kai Project

All are welcome at the first meeting of the new year as we listen and learn from Angela Fisher, one of our newer club members who joined the Rotary Club of Downtown Los Angeles this Rotary year.  Angela will be our speaker program as she tells us about The Kai Project, a Los Angeles based nonprofit organization that she started with fellow club member Kelly Stieglitz in order to empower small businesses around the globe by promoting entrepreneurial ventures and providing business resources in developing countries.

Pre-meeting fellowship starts at 5 or 5:30 pm in the 3rd floor Invention bar at the Los Angeles Athletic Club, followed by the regular club meeting from 6:30 pm - 8 pm on the 4th floor.  The $20 meeting fee includes dinner.
