Greetings from the RI Convention!

The Rotary International Convention is still in full swing at the Convention Center. RCLAM members Henry and Margaret Leong and yours truly have been attending the Convention and proposed member Ginny-Marie Case has attended some of the convention sessions as well.

More than just vendor booths and keynotes, the Convention offers breakout sessions that have been great opportunities to learn some tricks of the Rotary trade from Rotarians and RI staff.

It has also been an opportunity to showcase the Rotary Club of Los Angeles Morning to Rotarians from around the world. Ginny coordinated the printing of custom business cards inviting Rotarians to visit RCLAM for their makeup meeting which I have been distributing to several Rotarians who are staying in LA beyond Thursday morning. So be sure to come bright and early to Thursday's meeting for some fellowship with your fellow RCLAM members and maybe even some convention attendees.

The meeting will feature Russ Brown and Jessica Wethington Mclean who will present their rescheduled talk on the Bringing Back Broadway initiative that will include a revamped retail presence along the street as well as a planned streetcar.
