Come join our upcoming meeting on February 4 (Thursday) at the Los Angeles Athletic Club where our guest speaker will be Chris Aihara, Director of Development at Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC).  She will be joined by LTSC staff members Scott Ito and Kim Kawasaki.

LTSC is a social service and community development organization that has been creating positive change for the people and places in Southern California for more than 35 years.  LTSC preserves and strengthens the unique ethnic communities of the Southern California region and helps people thrive.  Starting with its home in Little Tokyo, LTSC builds and strengthens communities throughout the region where people, culture and our collective future matters.

Chris will present updates on the Budokan of Los Angeles project, a multipurpose sports complex scheduled to be built in Little Tokyo.  This $23.5 million project has been decades in the making, and will provide a recreation space that all sectors of the Downtown LA community can enjoy.

We'll begin with pre-meeting happy hour from 5:30pm on the 3rd floor, followed by our meeting from 6:30pm on the 4th floor.

Guests and visiting Rotarians welcome!  There is a $25 meal charge per person.

RSVP to Jennifer at jennifer@rotarydtla.org.
