April 21 Meeting: Restorative Justice

Come join our upcoming meeting on April 21 (Thursday) at the Los Angeles Athletic Club where club president Jennifer Usyak will talk about her experiences as a mentor accompanying youth detained in the Los Angeles County juvenile justice system. **Our originally scheduled speaker with the Anti-Recidivism Coalition (who planned to speak on a similar topic) had a sudden cancellation**

Jennifer is a volunteer with the Office of Restorative Justice of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and for the past seven years has visited with youth incarcerated at Central Juvenile Hall in Boyle Heights where Fr. Greg Boyle, Founder of Homeboy Industries, is a frequent presence.

We'll begin with pre-meeting happy hour from 5:30pm on the 3rd floor, followed by our meeting from 6:30pm on the 4th floor.

Guests and visiting Rotarians welcome! There is a $25 meal charge per person.
