Together we are solving inadequate shoe problems for students. The Marion-East Cedar Rapids Rotary received a $1500 grant from "Theisen's More for Your Community Corporate Giving Grant Program." A presentation took place Tuesday, November 14 at 11:30 at Theisen's NE side store, 1800 51st St. NE, Cedar Rapids. Thanks to Erin Steffen for writing the successful application and President Tom Barnes for bringing it to our attention. Erin and Brenda Neuendorf were on hand to receive the check from store Manager Jon Avenius. $20,000 in grants were provided through the northeast Cedar Rapids store this year with Theisens providing $300,000 company-wide. Thanks to Theisens for their support of communities they serve.
