ON VETERAN'S day, RCSRH wants to honor our loved ones and family members who served in the US Armed Forces. In fact, President Susan thinks that since the actual day falls on our meeting day, we should literally invite our kids, our spouses/partners, or anyone else we like and honor Veteran's by showing their pictures and telling their stories. If we have members of our own club who are vets, we will honor them on this day. If you get your loved one's picture to Susan before Monday Oct 10, she will put together a powerpoint on our bigscreen TV...when the picture you brought shows, you stand up and let us know who we are looking at and what they did. It is a way to get to know each other better and a way to acknowledge service above self.
