  12. Ready for midsummer night baseball!  The Club will be meeting at the San Rafael Pacifics game on Tuesday, July 15th. The ball game will replace our Breakfast Meeting that morning but note that we are not going ‘Dark’. The cost per ticket is $10 (payable to the Club).   Members may choose to buy ticket(s) or pay for makeup. 
 
There is a sign-up sheet going around. Please let Susan know if you are attending and how many tickets you need. Thanks.
 
  1.  Board Meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Tuesday each month. Everyone is welcome to attend.  And remember Board Meetings count as a Make-Up and/ or for your blue badge.
  2. Basic PRLS. This event is a great experience for those of us who may need some practice presenting ourselves effectively in front of larger groups of people. Limited to 30 people District wide so sign up early.  Cost is $50. Note our Club has a standing offer to members to pick up the cost for the first of the three Basic PRLS classes.

OTHER CLUB AND SERVICE INFORMATION TO SHARE
a.LIFT Food Distribution: Each Thursday at the Marin Community Clinic of Novato. Set-up is from 2-3 pm and distribution is from 3-6 pm. Ask for Jasmine Martinez.  She is a petite girl with long dark hair, usually wearing a LIFT t-shirt with papers in her hand.
Please wear close toe shoes and comfortable clothing you do not mind getting dirty. You will be helping with:
  • (If arriving 2-3 pm)  Set up of tables, posters, etc., unloading and fixing delivered food or helping weigh food and prepare for distribution.
  • (If arriving 3-5 pm)  Distributing food, helping with children's center or Zumba or perhaps "sample preparation/dietary advice" table. Basically wherever you are needed.
     There will be youngsters around to do the heavy lifting. The location is in Novato at the Marin Community Clinic, 6100 Redwood Boulevard, Novato, CA 94945. Mary Sackett's cell phone is (415) 328-0420.
