BELL RINGERS:   Jim Carriere was so happy that the Shelterbox "Jim"balaya fundraiser raised over $10,000 that he donated a double bell ringer ($200 or over).  This time he did not remind us that with only a $20 donation to Shelterbox USA, we could specifically offer the Luminates box.   Jim also thanked Karen Hansen and Greg Williams for donating their condo in Kauai for the live auction...their week brought in $1,250.  Of course, the second-highest auction prize was 4 tickets to a weekend Warriors game...donated by Jim and John Bottari together.  All-in-all, our Club may have had the highest percentage of attendance and we did donate the 3 auction prizes.  Plus..>Hugh WON the 35 bottles of wine raffle prize!
OTHER HAPPY NEWS:   President-Elect Hugh Murphy went to LA to see the Dodger's but also saw the "Kurios" version of Circque du Soleil and thought it great.   Barbara Weldon paid a fine because "I made it home safely from Detroit!"
Judi Cooper announced the wonderful show at KBIS  ("Kitchen/Bath Industry Show") and enthusiastically endorsed the new finishes, new technology...new exciting options.
Aref Ahmadia celebrated having a good time at the Jimbalaya with a fine/donation.
President-Elect Nominee Carola Detrick paid a fine because her grandson, who survived and recovered well from open heart surgery, is now 3 years old.
