The recent five-year drought caused everyone to reconsider how we use our limited water resources. Dave Pedersen (General Manager, Las Virgenes Municipal Water District) will speak on the “Pure Water Project – Las Virgenes-Triunfo” – a local proposal to take recycled water “Full Circle” and process it back for use in the drinking water supply. Mr. Pedersen will discuss the reasons for exploring this option, describe the processes involved, and project the path forward, outlining the benefits to the community and to the Malibu Creek Watershed.
