Welcome to the Rotary Club of Ventura East

The Rotary Club of Ventura East was chartered on May 23, 1963 and was the first club in District 5240 to achieve the status of 100% Paul Harris Fellowship.

We meet on Thursdays at noon for lunch, fellowship and business networking at the Poinsettia Pavilion, 3451 Foothill Road in Ventura.

The motto of Rotary is “Service Above Self."  As such our club consists of the following Avenues of Service:

            Club Service

            Community Service

            International Service

            Vocational Service

            Youth Service

Among these service avenues, club members participate in 47 separate project and standing committees throughout the year.  Some of the more popular projects include our concert series at Libbey Bowl, the July 4th Pushem/Pullem Parade, Operation Splash!, and the Rotary Bullseye Shooting Contest.  We support many non-profits, such as the YMCA, Boys and Girls Clubs, Food Share, and the Ventura Botanical Gardens.  Our fundraising efforts enable us to donate funds to these organizations and provide academic and vocational scholarship opportunities to Buena High School seniors.  We also provide leadership training programs to middle and senior high school students through the Balboa Interact Club, Buena Interact Club, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, Ventura Rotaract Club and Professional Rotary Leadership Seminars.

Our club meetings consist of a generous lunch, fellowship and networking, club business and usually includes a program speaker that informs us of timely topics of local interest.  Our club offers the young professional or community leader the opportunity to meet with successful peers and help make a difference in our communities.

Find us on Facebook and Twitter. For more information about the Rotary Club of Ventura East, we offer you the ability to witness the opportunity membership presents and welcome you to attend the next meeting.
