Tic-tok, tic-tok…..As a kid, it seemed like an eternity passed as I watch the hands of the clock move closer to the end of my school day. Especially as teachers went on and on about how Algebra was the foundation of adulthood.  I hate to admit now, they were not wrong. Now, it seems like time flies, literally. Is it because I’m having fun? Is it because I’m busy? I don’t know why time is flying but we are half way through Jeff’s Rotary year as president and I can’t believe it. Everyone we see keeps telling me that the hard part of the year is over and that I’ll love coasting to the end of the Rotary year. I disagree. We have more activities planned for the next 6 months than the first 6 months. We have mixers and we have events to still get off the ground. You know that Jeff’s step down is going to be grand and we need to plan on how we will pass the torch. Coasting is for us next year, when our hard work is done, and Jeff had fulfilled his promise to Be the Inspiration. Jeff and I are a team. He works, I work. I get the added bonus of cheering all of you on too. So, if you want to help me plan for the next 6 months, let’s get together at the next Sip & See. Let’s create our vision for 2019 together.
