- Tonights dinner, we have 55 people signed up for our take-out dinner. Stacey and her crew are preparing the meal. You can pick-up between 5 & 6.
- We are thinking about doing this weekly with a Zoom “chat” that evening.
Community Service: Amber Stevens Happy Birthday! Bruce let us know about a virtual event for Ronald McDonald House. Walk for Kids was April 5th. On Friday April 26th at 5:00 there will be a benefit concert. Joe Strohman - Our club foundation voted to support the following organizations for COVID-19: $6,000 - Mossy Foot $2,000 - Ventura Family YMCA $2,000 - Project Understanding $2,000 - Autism Society of Ventura County $2,000 - Ronald McDonald Family Room $1,000 - Foodshare In addition the Club has donated $500 to the Stembassadors. Tim Hughes: Applications for scholarships are out. We are giving $100,000 this year. Happy $’s: Husam Hishmeh, Jeff Hata, Emily Barany, Jeff Burgh, Bruce McGee, Adonis Campillo, Jose Strohman. Roy Valdez's daughter is 3 months old and doing well! Adonis Campillos’s daughter is doing well also, sleeping 6 hours at a time which is a blessing, 2 months old. Ashley Pope reported that Gavin is doing well, Gavin misses the interaction with his peers. Rich Stewart let us know that our exchange student, Sora, is doing online classes with a school in Japan, finishing her semester at Buena online and doing a remedial course online for classes missed. |
