Hello Rotarians and friends of The Rotary Club of Ventura East. Last week’s meeting was great, I am sure. Rich brought a new flavor to the meeting, and I know that you were in good hands. This week, Sharon lined up a great speaker. You know those pesky little things that fly around in the yard and occasionally sting you….Well, the program is all about Bee’s and the gifts that they give us.
As mentioned before, I will be on Vacation for the following 3 weeks, and Jeff Hata has volunteered to run this week’s meeting. I know that you will be in good hands. The program will be HOLY BEE, Gods Greatest Gift.
Another reminder to bring your donation of White Sport Socks so that Sharon can bring them with her on her upcoming trip to planning another trip to Africa where they are so desperately in need of them. Thank you in advance for your generous donations.
Rotary Club of Los Olivos will be having their Fundraiser on June 11. The Jazz and Oil Festival will include wine tasting from 1-4 in the afternoon. I have included the link for your convenance.
Please remember to mark your calendar for our “Step-Down” Thursday evening June 23rd. The evening will be held at The Four Brix Winery, located at 2290 Eastman Ave. Margarida will give you more details as they become available. Plans are being made for an unforgettable evening.
