Greetings Rotarians and Friends,
This week’s program headliner is Mark Bridges with the Industrial Emergency Council. They train first responders for all types of natural and manmade disasters. Also, Allyson DesBaillet from the City Recreation Department will give us a briefing on the 4th of July Parade preparations.
Keep selling tickets for the Food, Wine, and Beer Festival on June 8th at Camp Arnaz. Direct people to purchase online by forwarding the flyer with the website information. Physical tickets are available from me or Cal. Any tickets you sell need to have the ticket stub filled out and returned with the payment. Thank you for promoting this event anywhere and everywhere. Tickets are $60 for a festive afternoon of sampling some of the best Ventura County has to offer.
Next week our program is Ventura Spirits. The distillery has been a valued community business for over ten years and we will be presenting them with our Business Ethics award.
Step down is on June 20th at Bright Spark Brewing. Mark your calendars !! Festivities begin at 5:30. Since this falls on our Third Thursday, each member may bring one guest for free.
