It’s almost here!! Thursday is the day you have been waiting for. The Club’s 60th Anniversary 60s themed social and meeting with District Governor Marta Brown? Get ready for a groovy time! DG Marta will meet with the board at 5:15 and the festivities will begin by 6. Come early and buy something from the bar to sip. All bar proceeds will go to Polio Plus!
For the organizers and volunteers of the Beachside Bash, your participation was outstanding!! All the attendees and grill competitors had a great time! The music and cooking demos were a big hit! Thank you again for demonstrating that Ventura-East shows up and pitches in.
Last week we heard from two of our newest members: Michelle– her company is Jeden Biosciences, and Nancy –sharing her life of adventures. We are so fortunate that they have chosen our club!
For the October 5th meeting, consider inviting friends who may be interested in learning about how the Rose Parade Float process works and maybe be inspired to join in a decorating day.
