One of the things that has come up over the last few months is the desire to share what Ventura East is doing with everyone outside the club. How do we get the word out? How do we reach people who want to participate? How do we call to action people who are ready to work along side us on all the projects the Board has decided are important this year? I’ve discovered it isn’t enough to invite people. I find that people want to be a part of something bigger but don’t know where and when they can join in on the fun. That is the reason I post on all my social media and I take pictures at every event. I work hard coming up with mixer ideas and shopping for the workshop supplies, but I have to confess, my heart always aches when people don’t participate.  Am I having fun? Absolutely! Will I continue participate after Jeff’s year is done? Hmm, good question. My hope is that I will be able to but who knows if next year there will be a Sip & See series or Nightmare on the Hill. My point is, we can’t wait for the next time to be involved, we must do it now! We must participate because today is the best day to do it.
