A big thank you to our Ventura County Tax Assessor, Keith Taylor, for his program last week. Lots of great information on Prop 19 and transferring tax basis, plus how property is assessed and how the county has helped in times of disaster. Check out the website assessor.countyofventura.org.
Plan to be at the regular meeting next week when we will nominate the PEN for 2025-26, have a mid-year review and a jump start for the next six months: your opportunity to provide input and feedback on fundraisers, projects, programs; to celebrate our accomplishments and set the path for new ideas going forward. Please note: assignments may be made in absentia.
We have some great programs lined up for February, see calendar listing below, so make it a goal to invite someone to each meeting. Let’s spread the word about what a great place Rotary is for making friends, learning new things about what’s happening in the community, and being part of making our world a better place.
