We are a leadership organization comprising of local business, civic and professional leaders.

We are a nonpolitical, nonsectarian service club.

We meet regularly to get to know each other, form friendships and through that we are able to get things done in this community. Like:
  • Scholarships at 5 local high schools,
  • Interact Clubs at 3 local schools.
  • Support the YMCA, City Center, Ventura Botanical Gardens
  • Promote literacy and career guidance in schools

Internationally we support a huge project our club started called GoCare in Nicaragua and contribute to eliminating Polio worldwide.

The Rotary Club of  Ventura-East meets Thursday noon to 1:30 at the Poinsettia Pavilion in Ventura. Come and learn more about Rotary's humanitarian service, high ethical standards in all vocations and help build good will in this community.

We had such a great time playing Scategories last Thursday. Thank you so much Ashley Pope for organizing it.

It looks like things are starting to move forward. We have many events coming up:
  • September 25th - Mossy Foot Fundraiser drive through Dinner. A wonderful Ethiopian meal prepared by Stacey. If you had a chance to be at the Gala last year you know how delicious it was. Cost is $50/meal and pick up time is between 5 and 6pm.
  • September 30th - Picnic for Polio at the Spanish Hills Country Club 6pm. Come enjoy a sandwich and great music from the Barrel House Wailers, a wonderful Swing music band.
  • October 1st - Mike La Plant from the Fire Safe Council will give us some pointers on how to make our house more fire protected.
  • October 8th - Club Assembly
  • October 15th – Zoom Game night meeting
  • October 22nd - Ventura Botanical Garden
  • October 29th - Call for Polio – Gary Needham
  • November 6-7-8 Virtual District Conference
Looking forward to Zooming with you on Thursday

Serving with a smile...

Best,
Margarida Eidson
