With the return of the Santa Ana Winds and numerous wild fires that followed, I find myself in the EOC more than in my office or home, so this newsletter will be short and to the point. I hope this finds you well and that the latest round of fires to hit our region has left you and yours unharmed. My prayers go out to the hundreds, if not thousands, effected by these fires.
Our program this week will be Waqad Ashmad – “Insights into the Muslim Religion”. I am looking forward to this informative program – Don’t miss it! Next week we have our County District Attorney visiting us to talk about the new Family Justice Center, just opened in Ventura. Should be a very interesting discussion, bring a friend!!
The Club’s Thirty-Second Annual Poinsettia Plant Sales has begun. You can pick-up flyers at our weekly meetings or contact Judy Hoag for information. Thank you, Judy for your continued leadership and guidance on this very important event. Free delivery is scheduled for Thursday December 5th.
