The start of the year is always busy for me due to my company’s business. After almost 10 years in business, it still seems so odd to say that I am the owner of a company. Why? Because I worked hard it, ate lots of ramen to fund the company because it matters to me. My company is the manifestation of years of learning and hard work. Jeff has been in Rotary for over 14 years and has now served twice as President. Why? Because Rotary matters. Each year Jeff rolls up his sleeves and serves. He plants trees in the rain, he walks for fundraising, he crafts, he coordinates mixers, and he shows up where ever he is needed. Rotary is not just a group of people. You are all his family. So, as the wife of the current President and not a Rotarian, I have to share that it is sad that the second half of Jeff’s year has begun.  I have had the best year being of service to you. Please show up, and please be present because soon, you will have a new year, but the opportunities will have passed you by.
