Hello Rotarians and friends of The Rotary Club of Ventura East. This week is our “Third Thursday Club Social”. This month we will be meeting at “The Twist on Main”, located at 454 E. Main Street. As usual, the evening will be from 5:30 – 7:00pm. For those of you that would like a little entertainment, there will be a “Jazz” band starting at 7:00. This promises to be a fun evening.

I will be on Vacation for the following 3 weeks. No! We will not be dark!  We are fortunate enough to have three past presidents volunteer to each take a week. Thank you, Rich Stewart, Jeff Hata, and Bruce McGee. I know this will cost me a bundle when we return.

Sharon Daly is planning another trip to Africa and is desperately in need of White Sport Socks.   Please bring your donation to the upcoming meeting as they will be collected for her.  Thank you in advance for your generous donations.

Please remember to mark your calendar for our “Step-Down” Thursday evening June 23rd. The evening will be held at The Four Brix Winery, located at 2290 Eastman Ave. Margarida will give you more details as they become available.

Margarida passed out information as to how to make donations that will help the Ukraine.  Please send checks to: ROTARY INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT 5240  C/O Synergy Computing Inc.
5662 Calle Real #425
