Our Opportunity Drawing today was 4 meals to Pizza Man Dans donated by Pizza Man Dan Remember to ask if your buyers for Poinsettias would want to donate any plants to Cypress Place. Think about any contacts you may know who would want to buy poinsettias. Joe Strohman introduced Ericka Mendez who was the Dr. Bob Pazen Nursing Scholarship award recipient last year. Ericka just passed her nursing exam. Ericka is working at Ojai Hospital. Ashley Pope said that everything is ready to go for Halloween. Ashley said we have enough candy and went through the list of volunteers and what their duties will be. Amber Stevens has a call in the Salvation Army for Bell Ringing. Joe Strohman – Veteran’s Day program will be interviews of Bill Spellman and Jeff Burgh. Joe is also working on a Christmas program for youth. Ashley Pope – We have a new Rotaract contact and we won’t hear back from Buena until after the New Year. Bruce McGee – the Membership committee is active and vibrant working on plans to grow membership soon. Sharon Daly – 48 patients who have recovered and doing vocational training in Ethiopia. Cal Magro was the winner of the opportunity drawing. |
