The Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise is proud to support literacy and learning for third grade students across Santa Barbara through our annual dictionary project. 535 students will soon receive their own personal dictionary.
In preparation for upcoming school deliveries, Rotary members gathered at a recent club meeting to personalize the dictionaries. Along with adding Rotary emblem stickers, members also placed special bookplates inside the dictionary cover. These bookplates recognize our program speakers.
Deliveries to local schools will take place soon, and we look forward to seeing the impact this project will have on hundreds of students.
