The Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise is pleased to announce Kirk Greene as President-Elect Nominee. Kirk will follow President Liz Alves (2025-26) and President-Elect Angelique Davis (2026-27) in leading our club in the 2027-28 Rotary year.

Kirk brings 27 years of Rotary experience, beginning with the Rotary Club of Seattle and, for the past two years, serving actively with Santa Barbara Sunrise. He is currently our club's Membership Director. His deep commitment to service and passion for community engagement make him well suited for this role.

Kirk is a retired financial adviser whose 40-year career included founding a Seattle-based registered investment advisory firm serving individuals, businesses, and nonprofits. After selling the firm to his partners in 2020, he returned to his hometown of Santa Barbara. He is a graduate of Seattle University and holds both ChFC and CLU designations from the American College of Financial Services.

In addition to his professional and Rotary contributions, Kirk writes a regular column on financial planning for Noozhawk, and he encourages community support for local news. His articles can be found here: https://www.noozhawk.com/author/kirk-greene/

Kirk is an avid cyclist and often rides with his wife Jann, also a member of our club. This year, Kirk has taken on Bike4Kids, a 6,000-mile challenge dedicated to raising $20,000 for the United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County. With more than 5,921 miles already logged as of this writing, he’s within reach of his goal with just over two weeks to go!

Please join us in congratulating Kirk as he prepares to lead our club in 2027–28!
