Congratulations to our December Rotarian of the Month Jann Greene!
Jann, who has served in Rotary for nearly 18 years, officially joined the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise about 3 years ago. We’re so glad she did!
Jann brings service and smiles to the club all year long, but she was honored in particular for all the ways she helped foster community and cheer during the holiday season. Along with our exceptional Social Committee, Jann took leadership roles throughout December.
Jann:
- Brought members and their loved ones together on the holiday trolley of lights, adding a social at the beautiful Burns’s home (complete with holiday bell necklaces).
- Organized our club holiday party + toy drive + coat drive, which we celebrated at Harry’s Plaza Cafe. We had great food, warm fellowship, and excellent entertainment.
- Joined in the Salvation Army Bell Ringing.
- Supported the Unity Shoppe, and fellow club member and Unity Shoppe Executive Director Angela Miller-Bevan, taking calls at the annual telethon.
She demonstrated that December is a season of giving.
