Funds support new bedding for Transition House shelters and residences.
The Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise contributed funds for bedding to be used in Transition House shelters and transitional living residence. The project was funded by the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise Foundation, Rotary Club of Santa Barbara North, and through a matching grant from Rotary District 5240. Transition House provides emergency shelter, transitional and permanent supportive housing to families with children that strive for a better life. Families who transition to more permanent housing will be able to take the bedding with them. The project was lead by Sunrise Rotarian, Diana Washburn.
