Barry R. Schoer honored with Paul Harris Fellow by Connard Hogan. 
 
The Paul Harris Fellow recognition, named after Rotary’s founder, is a prestigious honor for those who contribute to the humanitarian and educational programs of The Rotary Foundation. It symbolizes dedication to Rotary's mission of "Service Above Self."
 
Barry R. Schoer has been recognized a new Paul Harris Fellow by Connard Hogan as a tribute to someone whose life demonstrates a shared purpose with The Rotary Foundation's objectives.
 
Barry’s work in mental health and substance abuse spans decades. He has served as President and CEO of Sanctuary Centers of Santa Barbara since 1983, expanding services for adults with mental illness and substance use disorders. Barry led a partnership with Premier Valley Medical Group to provide patient-centered care and initiated the construction of a five-story building to offer permanent housing and on-site medical services for Santa Barbara residents.
